The Evolution of a Crest and Unveiling the New SBFC Logo
At SBFC, growth isn’t just something we ask of our players on the pitch – it is a principle we have as an organization. Today, we are thrilled to share a significant milestone in our journey: The official unveiling of the new SBFC logo.
This transition marks a new chapter for our community, reflecting how far we’ve come since our inception and where we are headed next.
More Than a Logo: A Fusion of Two Identities
When we set out to redesign our visual identity, we wanted a mark that was personal. SBFC is built on the unique partnership and experiences of Coach David and Coach Juan. To represent this, we looked at historic footballing cultures from their backgrounds and heritage.
The new SBFC crest is a symbolic merger of two iconic soccer worlds:

The Dutch Lion (1996-2014)
Representing Coach David, this symbol carries the heritage of “Total Football”, a philosophy of tactical fluidity, intelligence on the ball, and Dutch precision.

The Colombian Football Federation
Inspired by Coach Juan’s background, this element brings the passion, flair, and creative energy that is synonymous with South American soccer.
By weaving these two stories together, our new crest becomes a tribute to the diverse, world-class influences that our coaches embark to provide to every player in our program.
A New Look for the New Season
This isn’t just a digital change. You will see the new SBFC logo integrated across our entire lineup of gear. We are hard at work preparing for the upcoming season, and the new crest will be the centerpiece of:
- New Home/Away Match Kits
- Official Tracksuits
- Fan Merchandise

A Note from the Coaches
To our parents and supporters: Thank you for growing with us! Thank you for your trust in us with regard to your son’s long term development. Thank you on behalf of your children, for being involved, for bringing the SBFC support and energy to every training session and match. We will never take these things for granted and you are part of what makes our club great, and this evolution is as much yours as it is ours.”
